The finals of the 3-pt Club girls preseason tournament came down to whose No. 21 was going to have the better game.Coming into the finals, Dibrell’s Bailey Barrett and Eastside’s MaKenna Mason were the tournament’s top scorers. They were lined up against one another in the finals Thursday night at Charlie Dalton Gym and Barrett’s Lady Wildcats got the better of the meeting when they claimed the championship with a 24-12 victory.Barrett and Mason each led their team in scoring in the championship, but it was a determined Dibrell defense which stole the show for three quarters.By the time Mason racked up all seven of her points in the fourth quarter, Dibrell had built a 17-1 cushion.Most of the lead was built by Barrett and Rachel Johnson.
