TNT explodes late, beats Livingston

With travel teams taking over the scene at the ball park the last several years, one of the sports often overlooked is the girls slow-pitch softball league. The slow-pitch SEAA State Tournament came to the fields at the Civic Center over the weekend with over 20 teams who showed up to battle it out.Local slow-pitch team TNT faced the Lightning from Livingston and both teams put all the cards on the table. TNT came back in the top of the sixth to tie the score, then put the winning run on scoreboard in the top of the seventh and edged the Lightning, 7-6, holding the Lightning scoreless its final at-bat.After falling behind in the first five innings 6-3, TNT finally put together a string of hits and runs started to cross the plate.
