Pioneer junior point guard Dee Spates was all smiles while cutting down the nets at White County Tuesday night.
Tuesday’s title game was one for the ages for the Pioneers. Warren County claimed its first district title since 1978, beating White County 78-76 in Sparta. CJ Taylor scored 32 points in the victory, including draining the buzzer beater to push the Pioneers over the top.
