Tennessee Warehouse secured a solid 14-7 win over Dr. Franson Orthopedics on Thursday on Hoover-Millraney Field in the girls 7-9 youth league.The Warehouse delivered 7 runs in the first 2 innings, with Ivy Elrod, Brynlee Chisam and Mackenzie Haile bringing in 3 in the first and Elrod, Addy Cocke, Chisam and Lola Wells adding 4 more in the second. Ava Franson crossed home in the second for Dr. Franson’s first score giving Tennessee Warehouse a 7-1 lead early in the game.Both teams treaded water in the fourth inning, scoring 2 runs each. Kayden Gipson and Melton scored for Dr. Franson, while Haile and Elizabeth Bryant added to the tally for Tennessee Warehouse.Tennessee Warehouse had a 5-run fifth inning as Elrod, Cocke, Haile, Bryant and Presley Winfree tacked on to the lead leaving Dr. Franson Orthopedics to recover from a 14-4 deficit.Maci McBride, Melton and Franson added 3 runs before ending the inning.
