Warren County football fans have followed the Blue Devils’ 10-2 season and run to the ACC championship game closely as former Pioneer Cody Robinson currently holds a position on the Duke offensive line.The local love affair with the Blue Devils started in 2010 when Robinson made his pledge to Duke – spurning offers from SEC Schools Vanderbilt and Kentucky, along with potential scholarships to Syracuse and Tulane. Any sight of Robinson roaming the sidelines at Duke would send fans in a frenzy as Facebook and Twitter blow up with pictures of the former Pioneer fan favorite on the TV screen.Robinson spent most of his first two seasons watching – even redshirting his first year – as the Blue Devils finished 3-9 in 2011 and 6-7 in 2012.
