Warren County has grown accustom to seeing its 9-year-old travel team make a run at the state title. For the second straight season, the Warren County 9-year-old team finished runners-up at the state tournament.The 9-year-old team was selected through a tryout process during the 9-10-year-old junior league season. The team won four straight games before falling to Maury County in the championship 22-15.Warren County didn’t have trouble on offense in the championship game, but Maury County’s 11-run third inning was too much to overcome.Heath Kuykendall led Warren County with four hits in the championship.
