Things were looking bleak for the Warren County High School freshman basketball team Thursday night. After three quarters, the Pioneers were down, 51-38, to the visiting White County Warriors.Flash forward to the fourth quarter after an inside shot by Pioneer Irving Espinoza brought the game to within 4 points, 59-55. With :43 left, Warren County pulled out the stops to defend its home turf, but fouling the Warriors to get the ball back backfired as White County made enough free throws to put the game out of reach, winning 63-56.“We’re still young, still learning.
