Paddlefest Registration

Registration for the 2017 Paddlefest on June 24 has begun for the 13K kayak float/race which begins at Pepper Branch Park and ends at the VFW. Onsite registration begins at 9 a.m. and the race starts at 10 a.m. The cost is $25 for the race or $20 for the float. Save $5 when you sign up online before June 17 at www.kidsofthecommunity.com. All participants in the float/ race will be in a drawing for a new Jackson Riviera Kayak. For more information, contact Kids of the Community at 668-5437 or 212-5366.

Tennis Tournaments

There will be two upcoming tennis tournaments. The Security Federal tournament will be held June 8-10 with the deadline to enter June 3. The Dr Pepper tournament will be held Aug. 10-12. with an Aug. 5 deadline. Registration is $15 and there will be A, B and C singles and doubles divisions, 12 and under, and 10 and under. Pioneer Wrestling Camp

Wrestling camp will be held June 14-17 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. at 180 Arch Cope Road in Morrison for ages 5-17. Each participant will receive a T-shirt and any remaining proceeds will be given to Warren County Pride Wrestling team. Cost is $20 per participant. WCHS Basketball Camp

Learn the fundamentals of basketball May 30 to June 1 at WCHS. The camp is for upcoming students in grades K-8, both boys and girls. The camp is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Registration will open at 7:30 a.m. on May 30. Cost is $100 per camper with sibling discounts available. Each camper will need to bring a lunch.
