The Warren County Middle School softball team has made a habit of walk-off wins. The Lady Pioneers won in dramatic fashion for the second straight time Tuesday against Shelbyville, but the late-inning magic wasn’t there against Franklin North Wednesday.Skyler Youngblood’s 3-for-3 night, including the game-winning double in the bottom of the fifth, led Warren County to a 5-4 win over Shelbyville Tuesday at home. The following night, Franklin North scored five runs in the top of the seventh as the Lady Pioneers lost 5-0 in extra innings.Warren County (11-2) came into Tuesday’s game against Shelbyville still energized by a walk-off win over Coffee County Monday, but the visitors quickly made it 2-0 in the top of the first.Snapping back to reality, the Lady Pioneers recovered in the second inning as Youngblood started a three-run rally with a single.
