The Warren County High School softball team gathered one final time at the softball field for the team’s postseason banquet.Coach David Upton and his Lady Pioneers had plenty of things to be happy about following the most successful softball season in history. Warren County won a school-record 19 games before coming up one game short of making the regional tournament in back-to-back seasons.The Lady Pioneers also finished second in District 6-AAA in the regular season, posting a 4-4 record. The success for Warren County on the field led to five Lady Pioneers being voted all-district, along with one earning Co-Defensive Player of the Year honors.Junior Lauren Wilkinson repeated as all-district as well as winning Co-Defensive Player of the Year for the second time.
