Warren County looked to wrap up the No. 2 seed Thursday night with a victory in Soddy Daisy. The district match was not completed at press time.
Senior night went smoothly for the Warren County High School girls team Tuesday night. The Lady Pioneers easily dispatched Red Bank 5-0, evening their record at 6-6 in the process.Warren County, which was honoring nine seniors, had scoring options aplenty from the onset, but didn’t get on the scoreboard until late in the first half. The Lady Pioneers rolled after Abby Roller started the scoring, leaving coach Todd Willmore pleased with the final result.“It’s hard to be upset with a 5-0 victory, but I believe we missed numerous other scoring opportunities,” said Willmore.
