Once a Lady Pioneer, always a Lady Pioneer.
Former Warren County High School soccer players took the field Friday night for a little game against current players.
Returning players Lyndi Pack, Savannah Cox. Jaden Smartt, Shelby Roberts, and coach Kimberly Smith played a 5 v 5 game against the current team. Both teams put up a really good effort, but in the end the current team came out on top.
For many of the girls, they decided to come play Friday night because they missed it.
“I enjoy the memories that it brought back being here and I enjoy seeing the other girls. Me and Kimba played college soccer together so it was cool being back on the field with her,” said Pack, who graduated in 2013.
Cox graduated in 2020 and played a semester of soccer at Motlow State Community College and she was happy to get back on the field again.
“Anything to get back on the field,” said Cox.
Smartt just graduated last year and came out because she missed soccer and wanted to see coach Smith again.
“I thought it went well. We had a small turnout, but I think the girls had fun and I know that I had fun,” said Smith.
