Each team came out Saturday evening and tried to establish the tempo and run its offense. After the first half ended in a tie at 8-8, the second half was dominated by the Lady Bulldogs and Eastside claimed first place and the win, 30-19.The 5-6 grade preseason girls championship game featured the Morrison Lady Eagles, who narrowly escaped the first round with a win over Boyd, then earned a convincing second-round win over Dibrell. On the other side of the court, there was an Eastside Lady Bulldog team which defeated two teams by a single point for back-to-back wins in the first and second rounds.
