As county softball slowly ends, the dead period halts school sports and everybody heads on vacations and to the lakes, it can be a slow time for the sports guy in early July. Granted, I don’t want to complain too much because – like everybody else – I enjoy some down time. The job never ends though, so I wanted to take a minute to discuss a few odds and ends from the last few weeks.
