Remembering the greats
Here is the current sports Warren County Hall of Fame players honored over the years displayed at Security Federal Savings Bank. If youre a player in the Hall of Fame, the Standard would like to interview you about your athletic career. You can call the sports desk at 473-2191.

Since the resurgence of interest in developing a new committee for the Warren County Sports Hall of Fame was announced, folks around town are asking who is on the plaque already.
Since it is a lifetime honor, the Standard is going to start focusing on the accomplishments of those honored in the past by doing recurring features about those already inducted.
If you know something about an honoree, have a old picture, an anecdote, or any pertinent information you would like to share, this can be a community project. If you would like to participate and know someone who you would like to share some memories, email, come by the office, or call 473-2191. We’ll be looking forward to hearing from you.
