Team Red found the perfect way to cap an undefeated regular season in the machine pitch fall baseball league at McMinnville Civic Center.The Big Red cruised through the tournament with an undefeated record, winning the championship Monday night with an 8-7 victory over Team Orange.The Red jumped out to a 3-1 first-inning lead behind back-to-back home runs from Aiden Miller and Wes Sherrell. Both players would finish the game 2-for-2 from the plate.Also getting on base in the championship game for the Red were Nathan Bond with two hits, and Braxton Hopkins, Kaizer Hillis, Christian Dunn, Keyai Bryan and Braylen Moore.Team Orange tried to rally in the second inning with four runs from the bottom of its batting order. The rally pushed the Orange ahead 5-3 midway through the second inning.Finishing with two doubles and two runs scored was Orange leadoff hitter Devin Martin.
