Curtlan George followed with a double, bringing around Mills.George and Carter Templeton, who singled to reach base, would each come in to score on a single by Sean Cope to make it 8-4.The four-run deficit looked daunting when Hoover and Son Insurance went to the dugout for its final at-bat, but the team went down swinging.Brady Pegg started things off with a triple, then scored on a groundout by Elijah Fults.Nate Simmons followed with a double and would score on a single by Cameron Chilcutt.A fielder’s choice scored Chilcutt, making it a one-run game with two outs. Hoover and Son Insurance fell one run short when a strikeout ended the game.Mills, George, Cope, Charlie Moore and Jonathan Greene led Prater’s with two hits apiece.
