Down 30-11 at halftime, the Warren County Middle School 7-8 grade Lady Pioneers suffered their seventh loss, falling to White County’s Lady Warriors 49-28.White County’s aggressive defense gave the Lady Pioneers 24 shots from the charity stripe, with 15 in fourth-quarter action, but Warren County (2-7) could only convert on 10, ending with 42 percent from the line. Besides free-throw opportunities, only Kamryn Nowlin – who had 8 total game points – scored a bucket in the fourth quarter.Most of White County’s points were gained in the first half, including all the fouls Warren County would give them all game which totaled 10. The Lady Warriors didn’t hit much higher in free throws than Warren County making 5-of-10 for 50 percent.
