The WCHS boys basketball team continued its red-hot play Friday night in Manchester, gaining a 54-32 victory over the Coffee County Red Raiders.

Up by eight at the half, the Pioneers steadily built their lead all game. Jacob Reagan led all scorers with 11, followed by Hunter Daniel with 10 to pace Warren County.

WCHS has now won eight of its last nine and five straight to improve to 12-5.

Things were not as peachy for the Lady Pioneers however, as Coffee County put the defensive clamps on the WCHS offense. The Lady Pioneers were held to a mere seven points entering the fourth quarter and lost 32-20.

Warren County followed a six-point first half with just one point in the third.

Since a promising 9-2 start, the Lady Pioneers have lost six of their last seven and now stand 10-8. Lauren Wilkinson was the top scorer with seven.
