The Warren County Middle School Pioneers made short work of Harris Middle School in Shelbyville, capitalizing on the Harris Middle mistakes and the game ended with the Pioneers on top 14-2. The WCMS bats were smoking in the second inning, scoring seven of the 14-run total and batting around the order. Pioneer Brooks Helton took to the mound for WCMS and Helton allowed two runs, two hits, and walked three with five strikeouts.WCMS started the game a little flat in its first bat but managed to sneak a run in by Ethan Smith.
