Friday night the Pioneers took an L, but on Saturday they bounced back.
Warren County improved to 18-5 with a 87-45 trashing of the Shelbyville Golden Eagles.
The Pioneers didn’t let a 67-57 loss to Stone Memorial linger. With 14 different players getting on the scoreboard, Warren County made short work of the 1-19 Eagles.
"We got a lot of guys involved," said coach Chris Sullens. "It's something we wanted to focus on, getting an early lead and being on a back-to-back made for the perfect time to get a look at some guys in meaningful minutes."
Isaiah Grayson continued his recent scoring barrage with a team-high 15 points, followed by Tyree Ladet with 13. Other scorers included Eli Jones with 8, Chance Hobbs and Irving Espinoza with 7 each, Austin Hodges, Jerry Mrema and Sloan Seymour with 6 apiece, Raven Lewandowski, Brad Caten and LaCedric Cox with 4 each, Caleb Newby with 3 and Bunker Brock and Eli Buchanan with 2 apiece.
