Tuesday’s home game against Stone Memorial was supposed to be the midway point of the District 6-AAA schedule, but Mother Nature had different plans for the Pioneers. Inclement weather passed through the Midstate, forcing the Warren County High School basketball team to postpone its fifth district game.It was a tough blow for coach John Dillard and his Pioneers, who were coming off their first district win of the season last Friday. Warren County rallied back from a double-digit deficit in the final two minutes and used a three-point play by Holden Baker in the final seconds to beat Rhea County on the road 62-61 .Sustaining that momentum would have been tough against Stone Memorial – who is undefeated in district play and 16-4 overall.
