The rule-of-three principle suggests things that come in threes are inherently more humorous, satisfying and effective than any other number of things. If this were the case for the Warren County Pioneer football team, it would have won in the first round of the playoffs Friday night.Instead, in three drives, on three critical junctures, Warren County came up inches short on fourth-down attempts where the Pioneers lost possession of the football on downs. That would prove to be a significant difference as WCHS lost to the Hardin Valley Hawks 35-14 in Knoxville. The game officially concluded the 2016 season for the Pioneers.
