Pioneers crush Cascade

Cascade may be the Champions, but the Pioneers were the victors Tuesday night when the teams met in the Jeff Taylor Classic.Behind 16 points from Irving Espinoza, the Warren County High School basketball team started its season with a 67-45 victory over Cascade in Franklin County.Espinoza played a big part in the Pioneers pushing the pace. Tempo, particularly speeding up the game, is a big part of coach Chris Sullens' plan this season."I thought in the second half our style wore on Cascade," said Sullens. "We started getting the pace we want and got the open looks we want."We want to get the game into the 70s and shoot 25-30 3's per game.
