Pioneer tennis team pushes for four-peat
Placeholder Image
District 6-AAA went to five teams prior to the 2009-10 school year and since then only one team could call itself the champion in boys tennis. The Warren County High School Pioneers have dominated the district, winning the regular season and tournament titles three years in a row.Making it a “four-peat” could be tough as many of the players responsible for the run have graduated, but the coach who looked like he was going to go out a champion has returned. Coach David Dunlap retired after last year, but has returned for a 23rd season with the Warren County High School tennis teams.
