It must’ve felt like déjá vu for coaches David Dunlap and R.J. Pierce during Monday’s tennis match between Warren County and Oakland. The pair stood side-by-side discussing tennis like they had when Dunlap coached Pierce for four years and when Pierce assisted with the Pioneers for several years before making the move to Murfreesboro.By the end of Monday’s match, Dunlap probably regretted teaching Pierce so much. Pierce’s Patriot squad downed the Pioneers 6-3, dropping Warren County to 0-3 this season.Dunlap was very complimentary of Pierce and his team after the Patriots handed the Pioneers their third straight loss.“It’s great to see R.J. coaching.
