The Eastside Bulldogs completed a perfect regular season in the boys 7-8 grade elementary league as the team commanded the paint on both ends of the court.Twin towers Hunter Hawkins and Tyler Beaty scored at will, blocked shots and cleaned the glass as the Bulldogs finished 10-0. The dominate play of Hawkins and Beaty helped them headline the Southern Standard All-County team.The Eastside post players are joined on the first team by the league’s leading scorer Trey Cantrell from Dibrell, Irving College sharp shooter Chance Hobbs and Boyd forward Braxton Moody.Hawkins possesses the size and strength no other player in the elementary league can match. Standing 6-foot-2, Hawkins often towers over his opponents.
