Any thought the Warren County Middle School baseball team would be in rebuilding mode after losing its top two players has been erased in the first month of the season.After losing their first game, the Pioneers have now won seven straight games in March. The latest two victories came Saturday when Warren County beat Cannon County 14-2 and Cornerstone 11-1 in the Baxter Tournament.Warren County (7-1) saw its offense explode last week and it carried over into tournament play. The Pioneers won their four games last week by a combined score of 50-7, including their two double-digit victories in the Saturday tournament.Coach David Martin saw his team hit early and often in both games as Warren County started out its game against Coffee County with four first-inning runs.The Pioneers put together a string of five consecutive hits, sparked by a double from Lucas Rogers.
