In girls 7-9 softball action at Pete Holt Field on Thursday night, Netherton Dentistry battled Carbide CrossFit. Netherton Dentistry used a five-run fourth inning to pull away from Carbide CrossFit, 16-6.Netherton Dentistry was led at the plate by Lauren Hinshaw, who went 3-for-3 with a homerun and two singles. Lily Smith, Allie Melton, Hana Parsley and Ava Claire Wrather added three hits apiece, while Abigail Netherton, and Susana Netherton contributed two hits in the win.Carbide CrossFit saw contributions at the plate from Aniston Smith and Briley Jones, who had three hits apiece in the loss.
