Isaiah Robledo turned in an all-star performance in Friday's 6-4 win for McMinnville Funeral Home. Robledo went 3-for-3 and made several defensive plays to help his team win its opening game in the Morrison youth league tournament.
Tension didn’t take long to set in when tournament play began at Morrison Ball Park, the very first game in the youth 10-12 league.McMinnville Funeral Home used a five-run rally in the sixth inning to topple Hullett’s 6-4, the first of many teams to advance in the brackets Friday night.Entering its final at-bat down 4-1, McMinnville Funeral Home did have one glimmer of hope. Isaiah Robledo was due up first. The team’s speed demon didn’t disappoint.
