Basketball is back in Warren County.The sounds of sneakers squeaking, nets swishing and fans screaming will be heard at Morrison Elementary this week as the annual Morrison Ruritan tournament begins Tuesday night. The tournament, which will feature 7-8 grade teams from six county schools, will span three nights and culminate with two champions crowned Friday, Oct. 6.Boys and girls teams from Boyd, Centertown, Dibrell, Eastside, Irving College and Morrison will all be in competition. The Morrison boys and Dibrell girls enter as the top individual seeds courtesy of their victories in February’s postseason tournaments.
