Brett Simmons for Homeland Bank held off Prater Realty by knocking down two 3-point shots in the second half. Homeland connected on a total of six shots from behind the arc Monday night at the Civic Center.
Monday night men’s league action at the Civic Center was heating up in the first game with Mullican Tool putting on a 3-point clinic in defeating Hagemeyer by a final score of 73-46. Neil Gannaway led Mullican Tool with 25 points and right behind him was Johnathan Wilhite with 24. A total of 14 long-range shots from behind the 3-point line found their mark for 42 of Mullican Tool’s 73 points and all but one of those 3-pointers was fired by Gannaway and Wilhite.
