In a battle of the senior league’s best, McMinnville Aluminum and Vinyl Supply claimed king of the hill status by defeating Kirby Real Estate 6-3 Thursday night at Sam Martin Field.The MAVS, now a league-leading 4-0, got a great performance from Erin Hollis in the circle and timely hitting from Hailey Taylor to knock off last year’s league champions.Hollis pitched a complete game, striking out eight over six innings to pick up the win. Hollis was helped out by an opportunistic offense which was at its best early.Facing Brittany Myers, the MAVS offense needed to get off to a quick start.
