In the town of Thibodeaux, La., Connor Dixon and Christian Wilkinson got an inside look at the quarterback position from the first family of football.Dixon and Wilkinson attended the Manning Passing Academy, which is held each year at Nicholls State University and run by Peyton, Eli and Archie Manning.Dixon and Wilkinson, who attend school in Warren County and suit up for the Pioneers, spent July 7-10 in the hot Louisiana sun learning the quarterback position from two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, along with 31 college signal callers.For both, the three-day camp provided an atmosphere of learning at a position considered the most challenging in football. The chance to get guidance was one both Dixon and Wilkinson cherished.“The experience was great. I loved being around all the top quarterbacks in college and learning from them,” said Dixon.
