Local softball team wins World Series
IMG_3341.jpg
Rage, a local slow-pitch softball team, has been dominant this summer. The group won a state championship and two World Series titles, including the most recent one in Ohio. Members of the team are, front row, from left, Kylie Young, Payton Farmer, Madelyn Powers, Bri Young, Sadie Farmer and Kacie Newby. Back row, Caroline Stiles, Kapri Talley, Anna Prater, coach David Talley, Shelby Smartt, coach Kelvin Powers, Kimberly Woodlee, Bell Underwood and coach Mickey Prater.
For a local girls slow-pitch softball team, Rage became a fitting name. After all, it’s what they fill their opponents with on the diamond.
