Lady Pioneers win again

The Warren County High School girls basketball team improved its record to 4-2 with a 51-36 victory over Notre Dame in the Woodbury Thanksgiving Classic Saturday.The Lady Pioneers were coming off a hard fought 33-29 win over Sequathie County when the team took the court against Notre Dame.Coach Erick Baird didn’t see exhaustion bother his team at all. In fact, coach Baird thought it was one of the most impressive games he has seen since taking over as coach three years ago.“It’s the best we have played since I’ve been here,” said Baird. “We did everything right, ran the offense like it should be run and executed all our sets.”Senior Lauren Wilkinson had her best scoring game of the season as she put in 26 points a day after being held to a season-low eight points against Sequatchie County.
