Lady Pioneers top Coffee County again

Don’t tell the Lady Pioneers it’s hard to beat a team three times in one season. The Warren County High School girls basketball team made it look easy in Coffee County Saturday.After beating the Lady Raiders at Charlie Dalton Gym in November and again at Watertown in December, the Lady Pioneers made it three in a row with a 48-34 victory in Manchester Saturday night.Warren County (15-7) won for the seventh time in eight games by sweeping its season series with Coffee County for the first time in coach Erick Baird’s five-year tenure. The three-game winning streak over Coffee County follows a streak where the Lady Raiders won every matchup for 12 years before November’s 60-44 victory by the Lady Pioneers.
