While the Warren County High School girls basketball team did a commendable job corralling the MTSU commit, the rest of the Lionettes feasted on the Lady Pioneer defense.Eleven Cannon County players scored – including Sissom and Rebekah Faulkner leading with 14 points – in a 67-26 thrashing of the Lady Pioneers at Charlie Dalton Gym.Warren County (14-7) carried a six-game winning streak into its second game this season against Cannon County, but the Lionettes were a step up in competition from the teams the Lady Pioneers beat while claiming the Midstate and Watertown Christmas tournament crowns. Cannon County came into the game ranked among the top 10 teams in the state and showed why it is so well regarded by leading wire-to-wire in a 41-point blowout of the Lady Pioneers.Cannon County began the game on a 10-0 run as coach Erick Baird’s team couldn’t find any traction on its home court.
