Lady Pioneers rely on intensity for solid start

Coming off an impressive win Tuesday night on the road in Cumberland County, the WCHS Lady Pioneer volleyball team was back in action at home Thursday night as it went up against the Stone Memorial Lady Panthers.The Lady Pioneers dominated on their way to improving to 7-2 overall and 2-0 in district play.“Our key word for the past two matches has been intensity,” said Lady Pioneer coach Katie Rogers. “We have really tried to focus on keeping our intensity up through an entire match. In this match against Stone Memorial, we finally were able to keep our intensity.
