Lady Pioneers preparing for season
Haven Griffith look to find a teammate to pass to during WCHS Lady Pioneer soccer practice Monday afternoon. Griffith is one of the leaders returning to the Lady Pioneer team this season.
The Warren County High School Lady Pioneer soccer team, which went 10-6 a year ago, is looking to improve for the 2016-17 season. Led by head coach Todd Willmore and several key experienced returning players, the Lady Pioneers look solid so far this summer in preparation for the season.The Lady Pioneers will be led by a strong senior class this season led by Emma Mullican, Sarah Lockhart, Chelsea Stewart, Madison Mason, who was an all-conference player a year ago along with Natalee Reed. Bethany Porter and Neva Tackett, who returns to the team after last playing two years ago for the Lady Pioneers, round out the senior class.All-conference players Abby Roller and Sally Willmore will also bring some experience on the field as they both will be juniors this season.
