Fans preparing to go to Friday’s basketball games at Charlie Dalton Gym should be finding something pink to wear. The contests against Cumberland County will serve as the fifth annual Pinkout Night for Warren County High School.Donations will be collected in the gym lobby and other fundraisers have been planned too as the Pioneers and Lady Pioneers help raise money for the Kay Yow Foundation.Lady Pioneer coach Erick Baird – in his fifth year with the Lady Pioneers – was a big proponent in starting Pinkout Night when he came to Warren County. Taking up the cause for breast cancer awareness is very important to coach Baird and the Warren County basketball teams.“Breast cancer awareness is a great cause because it has affected all of us in some way,” said Baird.
