The jitters of playing at home for the first time may have slowed down the Warren County High School girls soccer team for one half, but nothing could stop the Lady Pioneers in the second half against Franklin County.After playing a scoreless first half against the Lady Rebels, Warren County exploded for three goals in the second half to win 3-1 Thursday night.Morgan McCormick struck twice, including scoring the go-ahead goal five minutes into the second half, and Kimba Warden found the net once as Warren County improved to 2-0 this season.Warren County coach Todd Willmore didn’t argue with the final result, but he knows his team will have to improve to reach the goals the Lady Pioneers have put in place this season.“You never want to complain about a victory,” said Willmore. “We didn’t have our best game. We had some moments where we were standing around a little too much and watching.
