After winning their season opener Monday night over Tullahoma, the Lady Pioneers fell in a road game to Cannon County, 59-47, making them 1-1 for the season.With a 14-point halftime lead, 28-14, the Lady Lions were able to muster a comeback offensive drive that left the Lady Pioneers without an answer as Cannon County outscored Warren County, 45-19, in the second half.Elsa Eckenrod led the Lady Pioneer offense with a 20-point game. Anna Bain and Tyra Wright both hit for 11 points each, Megan Patch 3, and Emily Mikkola was good for 2 points.The Lady Pioneers travel to Woodbury after the Thanksgiving break in Cannon County’s Thanksgiving Classic at Woodbury Grammar School. Games are Nov. 25 at 11:30 a.m. against Lighthouse Christian and Nov. 26 at 1 p.m. when they’ll play Nashville Central Christian.
