The Centertown 7-8 grade Lady Warrior roster doesn’t have many names. Currently there are six players listed.Thursday afternoon, Centertown played the Lady Eagles in Morrison who are sporting a full complement of 14 players. Needless to say, the Lady Warriors didn’t sub much, and didn’t earn enough points for the win either with the Lady Eagles taking a 35-17 victory. In a rare day game in front of the student body, the Lady Eagles soared as Lia Wright was both top game scorer with 12 points and a rebounding force as she hit the boards tough on both ends of the court.“It’s early in our season but I thought our girls played solid defense, rebounded well and really passed the ball well and played as a team,” said Morrison coach Kyle Cannon.
