The Boyd Lady Broncos seized control early to beat county rival Covenant Academy in high school basketball action Saturday at Boyd. On a night when Boyd celebrated Homecoming by crowning a king and queen, the Lady Broncos played like royalty on the court in earning a 50-25 win. Alaina Stiles was the top scorer for Boyd with 14 points.
