Covenant Academy faced off against the Boyd Christian School Lady Broncos on Tuesday night at McMinnville Civic Center and the Lady Broncos took care of business by taming the Lionettes, 49-25. The Lady Broncos were riding a wave of momentum coming off a win over Riverside this past Saturday night and they carried it over into Tuesday’s game as well. Mackenzie Pistole led the Lady Bronco charge with a game-high 19 points, while Covenant Academy’s Naina Patel led the Lionettes with 10 points.The tempo was set early by the Lady Broncos weaving their way through traffic as they pushed the ball up the floor.
