Boyd Lady Bronco Sydney Gilley, left, looks to get in a jump ball situation with Lady Wizard Katie Hutchins, right.

It was prime time for the Lady Broncos on Tuesday night as they jumped ahead of West’s Lady Wizards early for a 27-10 victory.
The Lady Bronco starters were able to distribute the basketball as Boyd’s Bella Stiles and Ava Jones were on a roll scoring 10 and 8 points, respectively. Then the Lady Broncos showed they could D-up, shutting down West’s offense for the second and third quarters.
“Our girls came out ready to play,” said Boyd Lady Bronco coach Allison Stiles. “Everyone worked hard as a team and contributed. We’re very proud of them.”
Kyleigh Ramsey came alive in fourth-quarter action, scoring 8 points for West, but the drive was most of the Lady Wizards offense, with Andy Pacheco hitting for 2 points in the first quarter.
Also scoring for the Boyd Lady Broncos were Emma Young with 5 points and Sydney Gilley shot for 4 points.
