A Boyd Lady Bronco rally in the second half secured a 39-16 season-opening win over the Centertown Lady Warriors Monday night in 7-8 grade basketball action.Down by 2 points at the half, 12-10, Lady Broncos Alaina Stiles, Breanna Jones and Erica Cantrell found their game as they scored 29 points between them in the last two quarters, all while holding the Lady Warrior offense to 6 points.“Centertown’s defense gave us some trouble,” said Boyd Christian Lady Bronco coach Allison Stiles. “We were able to pick up the pressure on defense and got a few steals to get the offense going. The girls did a good job of adjusting as the game went on and found some success in the second half.”Alaina Stiles led the Lady Bronco offense and had a game-high 13 points, including tickling the twine with an outside-the-arc bullet, all during second-half action.
