Led by Alaina Stiles's 22 points, the Lady Broncos were able to hold off Morrison 45-34.Boyd (8-0) clinched the regular-season title with the victory, one that looked in hand at halftime before the Lady Eagles made a big run in the second half.Boyd held a commanding 27-11 lead at halftime as the Lady Broncos used the momentum of a packed crowd to amp up the intensity.Bella Stiles got the Boyd fans on their feet in the first quarter when she drilled two 3-pointers, while Alaina Stiles - the league's top scorer - got going in the second quarter.Stiles showed off her complete offensive repertoire, beating the Morrison defense off the bounce, posting up smaller defenders and shooting over the Lady Eagles from the perimeter. Stiles tallied 11 first-half points, matching Morrison's team total by the break.Ava Jones and Emma Fulks each had five points in the first half for Boyd.Morrison ratcheted up the effort in the second half, swarming the Lady Bronco offense and attacking the rim at will.
