Kidd Ford entered the final Friday of Morrison Ruritan senior league tournament play knowing one win in two tries is all it needed against Medley’s Diner.Instead of waiting to the last minute, Kidd Ford took care of business early. Kidd Ford defeated Medley’s Diner 26-12 to claim the tournament title.Entering the tournament as the No. 2 seed, Kidd Ford worked its way to the finals by winning three straight games.Medley’s Diner had a different path, coming out the loser’s bracket and beating top-seeded Randall Walker Farms during the process.When the two teams met Friday for the finals, Medley’s knew two wins were needed if the team wanted to lift the tournament trophy.Kidd Ford never gave Medley’s a glimmer of hope though.
